Farah is the Gender and Advocacy Manager at Oxfam’s MENA Regional Gender Justice Programme. Over the last 10 years, she has been closely involved in various gender justice campaigns tackling issues of women’s political representation, gender-based violence, social justice and union representation in Lebanon. Farah is interested in issues and causes at the intersection of social and gender justice. As a researcher on gender, labor and migration, her recent experience includes as a Senior Research Assistant on social movements and active citizenship at Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship, and as a researcher at the Lebanese Labour Watch. Her publications include: “Organizing the unorganized: migrant domestic workers labor union organizing in Lebanon”.
